Currently in the Knesset, a new law proposed by Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon was recently passed by the Finance Committee that would place a tax on an owner who owns 3 and more apartments.  The purpose behind this law was to encourage owners to sell properties to increase the supply on the housing market that would help reduce the purchase price of homes. 
Opposition factions are preparing to petition the High Court to cancel the legislative process leading to the imposition of a tax on ownership of 3 or more apartments.  Stay Tuned!!
