Tax on the sale of apartment(s )- A new sales tax law will be going into effect as of January 1, 2018 that will be changing exemptions on Mas Shevach – capital gains tax. At this time, from January 1, 2014 until December 31, 2017, we are in a transition period.
There are differences if one is selling 1 sole property or one of many. There are numerous factors involved in all situations. In addition, there are constant changes in the current laws based on court decisions from lawsuits regarding this tax.
