The current very difficult health situation affecting the world, has resulted in people being confined not only to their country of residence and also to their homes as well. We wish those who are healthy to stay well and a refuah sheleyma to those who are ill. 

In addition, this virus has affected countries’ economy and people’s incomes and investments.  
We have received questions as to what’s happening with Israel real estate and prices of properties. Regarding Jerusalem, rentals were on going during the past month.  With the easing of restrictions, we are showing sale properties to our local clients. Our office has received requests from other agents as well, searching for properties to show their clients. People who live here are purchasing properties. A mortgage broker mentioned that there is an increase in requests for mortgages.
 
Regarding prices, sellers that need to sell are flexible and will consider reasonable offers. Properties that were overpriced are coming down to a realistic asking price. Based upon the past, Israel real estate has not been in a bubble waiting to burst. Basically, the prices are stable with flexibility.
 
We put together a short newsletter of properties that are special. Some properties are new in the market.  For the properties that are not new in the market, the owners are serious sellers and there is flexibility on the prices.

The Jewish Agency, based on inquiries from Jewish communities in the world, is expecting an aliya of about 200,000 people in the near future.
