NEWS: BIG OLIM NEWS ?
The government has approved a decision to simplify the process for new Olim specialists to obtain licenses. Now new Olim can arrive in Israel with TEMPORARY LICENSES and begin practicing their professions while permanent license processes are underway!
How will it work❓
1. Preliminary licensing process: All government ministries will allow those who have opened an Aliyah file to apply for professional licensing while they are still abroad and receive preliminary approval upon arrival in Israel. This process will begin on October 1, 2024.
2. Reducing education confirmation time: The Ministry of Aliyah and Integration will be authorized to recognize the academic education of Olim, significantly shortening the process. This process will begin on January 1, 2025.
3. Licensing Center: A government center will be established to consolidate all information about licensing processes and requirements for obtaining licenses in various professions. The center will have its own website and an app in different languages. The center will be established by January 1, 2025.
