This past week was a déjà vu experience for me.  Right after the 9/11 attack, I received calls from across the States and Canada with the same exact sentence.  “I never thought I would be making Aliyah, I never thought to buy a home in Israel, but after 9/11, I need to know I have a place to escape to.”
The tremendous rise of blatant anti-semitism with no control of the hatred expressed under the guise of ‘free speech’ has brought clients and friends calling with the same message, they want a home in Israel when needed.  
The real estate market is very busy with local residents purchasing and overseas clients are coming in as well. The whatsapp real estate groups that we agents use, are very busy asking for properties for their clients. There is a shortage of properties in certain neighborhoods. Right now, sellers that need to sell are flexible in the prices.  The feeling is, with the demand for housing, prices will go up.  
There are areas of Jerusalem that Anglos have not been interested in.  We are seeing now because of the lower and affordable prices in these neighborhoods, Anglos have started purchasing there with friends and family especially with new projects being built, gentrifying the neighborhoods.
We are marketing these projects as well.
With over 37 years of experience working in the field, my advice – if you see something you like, don’t wait.
Some of my clients are purchasing apartments where they can afford, and are planning to rent the apartments out, using the money to rent where they want to live but can’t afford to buy.  

As the war continues into we continue to pray for the safety and continued success of all our armed forces in the battle against pure evil.
May the zechut of the unity and chesed being done in unbelievable ways here in Israel and overseas be a merit for the protection for our soldiers, the hostages, the people here in Israel and Jews all over the world facing vicious antisemitism.
May we see the destruction of evil speedily and quiet and peace returning to our land. Amen!
